Professor Hisashi Yamamoto Attends Award Ceremony for the Roger Adams Award in Organic Chemistry

Professor Hisashi Yamamoto (Director of the Molecular Catalyst Research Center) attended an award ceremony on April 4th in San Francisco, USA, in order to receive the Roger Adams Award in Organic Chemistry. The award was presented by the President of the American Chemical Society.

The award ceremony was held at a hotel in San Francisco, with over 1,000 people in attendance. Professor Yamamoto donned a tuxedo and was surrounded by his family and fellow researchers during the ceremony and formal dinner.

Professor Yamamoto has been the recipient of numerous other prestigious awards, including the ACS Award for Creative Work in Synthetic Organic Chemistry in 2009.
